Appearance
The Risky Brothers are two tiny squirrels. One is a lighter brown than the other, and wears a black mask similar to its shadows original owner, one of the real Risky Brothers. He wears a purple vest with light blue stripes on it. He also has a bandage on his right arm, and left leg. He seems to have red buttons sewed into his chest and stomach. The other is a darker brown, with a bandage on the top left side of his head. He wears a yellow vest with blue dots, under another bandage around his chest. He also has bandages wrapped around the upper parts of both his arms, the lower part of his tail, and left leg.
Personalities
They seemed very confident when fighting Nami, but were beaten very easily. This confidence is most likely come from their shadow's original owners. It is unknown how they acted when alive, but they were most likely typical squirrels.
Abilities And Powers
Then were seen fighting with an axe and saw, although it is unknown how proficient they are in using them. Despite their size, they were strong enough to carry three coffins containing Chopper, Usopp, and Nami without any visible effort.
History
Past
Gecko Moria took the shadows of the Risky Brothers, two members of the Rolling Pirates, and used them to animate the corpses of two squirrels.
Thriller Bark Saga
Thriller Bark Arc
Perona had the Risky Brothers carry the coffin containing Usopp, Nami, and Tony Tony Chopper. When the squirrel zombies tripped and accidentally dropped the coffin, Chopper woke up so the squirrels attacked, but Chopper punched them away. Once Nami and Usopp also awoke, the squirrels scurried off to fetch allies. When Nami found the treasure room had been emptied, she electrocuted the Risky Brothers, forcing them to tell her where the treasure had been taken. The shadows animating them were later extracted by Moria. Without any shadows animating them, they returned to being stitched up squirrel corpses.

Translation And Dub Issues
The word "Risky" includes the section "risu", which is Japanese for "squirrel". This explanation shows why the Risky Brother zombies were squirrels. A similar pun is later done with Tristan, a squirrel Minkwoman.
