Introduction

Swallow Island is an island in North Blue. It is found on the south of Minion Island and Rubeck Island.

Geography

The island's distinct feature is its central mountain formation taking the shape of a swallow, which is covered with trees. The island is also shaped like the aforementioned bird, according to a map owned by Donquixote Rosinante.

Biography

Thirteen years ago, the island was to serve as a temporary base for the Donquixote Pirates following their plan to steal the Ope Ope no Mi from the pirates lead by Diez Barrels. However, the crew never landed on the island when they spotted the Marine ships lead by Vice Admiral Tsuru, who set up an ambush for the crew based on Rosinante's information. After leaving the Donquixote Pirates, Trafalgar Law would take residence in this island while still grieving for Rosinante's death. He ended up meeting Bepo, Penguin and Shachi by defending the former from the latter two, who were bullying the Mink at the time. Law defeated both Shachi and Penguin, earning their and Bepo's respect and admiration. The three started following Law and eventually formed the Heart Pirates at some point.

Trivia

• Swallow, along with its neighbouring islands Rubeck and Minion, derive their names from English ships that took part in the Battle of San Juan de Ulúa, in which Francis Drake (the namesake of X Drake) commanded the English fleet.
