Introduction
The All Blue is a rumored sea of legend, said to be the only place in the world where the North Blue, South Blue, East Blue, and West Blue seas meet. It was first mentioned during the Baratie Arc. Finding the All Blue is the dream that Sanji strives to achieve and for which he left the Baratie to join the Straw Hat Pirates. His mentor Zeff also sought the legendary sea during his time as captain of his own pirate crew until he was shipwrecked and lost both his crew and his leg, after which he opened the sea-bound restaurant and passed his dream onto Sanji, his adopted son.
Overview
Though the All Blue has yet to appear in the series, it is said that in this legendary ocean, there are fish from each of the four seas, and to have such a resource at one's disposal is the ultimate dream of every chef. It is believed that the All Blue is somewhere in the Grand Line. Although the legend of All Blue is well-known among chefs, many do not believe it, dismissing it as a mere fairy tale. At least one book is known to describe the legend of the All Blue. There have been several hints in the series that make it appear that the All Blue truly does exist, albeit solely in anime filler episodes. During Sanji's cooking battle in a Loguetown Arc filler episode, it was mentioned that some fish species that should not exist in the East Blue were found due to ocean currents, which made Sanji certain that the All Blue exists. In a Water 7 filler episode, Sanji finds another hint of the All Blue's existence. Salt is brought by the Aqua Laguna from all the seas and Sanji compares it to the All Blue. It is shown to be such a good seasoning that a small amount in food is enough to outclass even his own cooking.
Liveaction And Manga Differences
In the live-action series, Sanji claims that in addition to containing fish from all over the world, the All Blue will contain never before seen species of fish, as well as being plentiful in exotic spices and rare seaweed for sushi.
