Geography
Apparently the land was rather cold, living up to its name. The temperature was enough to kill the giant Oars when he was there, without the proper attire.
Citizens
The only person with a connection to the island so far was Oars.
History
500 years ago, Oars went out onto the Land of Ice wearing nothing but a loincloth, and died from frostbite. Centuries after his death, his corpse was found by Gecko Moria and brought back to Thriller Bark to make into a powerful zombie.
