Short Summary
As the Iron Giant begins to sink beneath the ocean from the last attack, it wonders where Joy Boy is. The Five Elders decide their next target are both Lilith and Atlas. Luffy, Dorry, and Brogy arrive on the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship, and Sanji learns about the status of the Thousand Sunny. Mars attacks Luffy’s group and after Luffy eats a meal from the giant’s cook, he reactivates Gear 5. With Luffy’s encouragement to help her, Bonney enters her Nika form as well. Hearing the Drums of Liberation causes the Iron Giant to reactivate.
Long Summary
The Iron Giant falls into the sea as a part of Dr. Vegapunk’s message manages to cut through before going out again. As it sinks, the Iron Giant asks where Joy Boy went because it could sense he was there and it desperately really wanted to see him. As for the people over the world, they have all become confused by why the transmission ended before he could finish talking and why Dr. Vegapunk had to die in the first place.
Some people correctly believe the World Government eliminated him because of the sins he said he committed, but others strongly believe the World Government would never do that, instead thinking Luffy had killed him because he was reported in the news to be holding him hostage. Back on Egghead, the Five Elders ask York how many Vegapunks are still functioning, and she tells them that only two are left who are synched to Punk Records: Lilith and Atlas. She tells them where the both of them currently are and they move to eliminate them, revealing that even with Dr. Vegapunk dead, Punk Records will continue to grow, and all they need is York. The giants start setting…

The giants start setting sail as Dorry, Brogy, and Luffy finally arrive at the coast and jump on board.
The Marines try to stop them, but Doll, Bluegrass, and the Sea Beast Weapon the latter is riding have all been turned into kids by Bonney, which she mocks them for. Sanji contacts Nami asking what her status is, and she tells him that they are getting ready to jump off the clouds, but if it looks like they will not reach the water, she will require his assistance, to which he replies he will save her, Robin, and Lilith without hesitation while letting the guys sink, much to Usopp’s annoyance. Mars flies over to the ship and breathes fire down on the giants, which they try to block with their shields. Mars ends up setting part of the ship ablaze, which the Giants try to extinguish. Mars declares he will not let any of them escape as the two Giant captains prepare to fight him, but Luffy returns to his Gear Fifth form after eating some of the giants’ food to replenish his strength. He asks Bonney to help him, but she hesitates because of how powerful the Elders are. However, Luffy tells her that he has faith she can do it with her powers. This causes Bonney to remember how Luffy told her earlier that Gear Fifth is Luffy’s form when he is free, and Bonney uses Distortion Future: Atashi Ga Ichiban Jiyuna Mirai, and transforms into her own version of Nika. The other Five Elders sense both of them and prepare to act, while the Iron Giant senses their presence as it continues to sink.
