Introduction
History
Due to its inability to fully deliver the monthly tribute demanded by Arlong, all of Gosa Village’s buildings were quite literally overturned by Momoo, the colossal sea cow under the command of the Arlong Pirates, as a show of force and punishment. The devastation occurred just two to three weeks prior to the arrival of Roronoa Zoro, Johnny, and Usopp. The only known resident of the village is a young boy, Chabo. In the aftermath of the destruction, some of the survivors of Gosa Village sought aid from the Marines’ 77th Branch, led by Commodore Pudding Pudding. However, the Marines’ intervention failed to stop Arlong’s reign. After the Arlong Pirates were defeated by the Straw Hat Pirates, Nami demanded that Nezumi’s 16th Branch undertake the reconstruction of Gosa Village.
