Introduction

Tequila Wolf is a massive stone bridge in the East Blue, which has been under construction for centuries. It first appeared when Nico Robin was sent there by Bartholomew Kuma during the events of Sabaody Archipelago. Both Robin and the residents of Tequila Wolf were later rescued from their enslavement by the Revolutionary Army. Tequila Wolf is one of four monumental mega-structures that have been under construction using slave labor over the course of 700 years. The others include Vodka Wolf (ウォッカウルフ, Wokka Urufu?), Rum Wolf (ラムウルフ, Ramu Urufu?), and Bourbon Wolf (バーボンウルフ, Bābon Urufu?). Past

The construction of the Tequila Wolf bridge has been an immense, ongoing project for the past 700 years, driven by the demands of the World Nobles. This colossal task is being carried out by slaves—criminals or individuals from countries that refuse to ally with the World Government. The building of the bridge has slowly progressed over the centuries, and civilization has had to progress alongside it, with earlier settlements crumbling over time and new ones founded as the bridge grows in length. Consequently, many ruins of former work camps lie scattered along the bridge, remnants of the grueling labor that has taken place over generations. The exact purpose of this seemingly insurmountable undertaking is still shrouded in mystery, though it was assumed that the goal is probably to connect various islands. Four years before the current storyline, Bartholomew Kuma briefly travelled to Tequila Wolf in search of a cure for his daughter’s disease.

During the events of Sabaody Archipelago, Bartholomew Kuma sent Nico Robin to Tequila Wolf. She was forcibly put to work on the bridge’s construction, until the Revolutionary Army launched an assault and freed Robin and the other enslaved workers.
