Appearance
Summary
Ahiru is a woman with pale skin, prominent lips and long hair. Her left arm is a mechanical prosthesis. She wears a blouse with an only right long sleeve, a brown glove and a red tie; in her initial appearance, she also wore a green jacket. She has a pair of goggles on her head. In her initial appearance, her prosthesis was light and dark green in the anime and gray in the colored manga and her hair was brown; in the anime's later depictions, it is pink while her hair color is black. She was also initially depicted with tanned skin and a black blouse, instead of the white blouse used in the anime's later depictions of her.

Summary
As a member of the Revolutionary Army, Ahiru has no qualms with challenging the World Government, especially with her status as an officer. Ahiru appears to take her nature as a cyborg rather seriously, making up mechanical sounds with her mouth whenever she moves her cybernetic arm around.

Summary
As a deputy commander within the Revolutionary Army, Ahiru has some degree of command over lower ranking revolutionaries, especially those within the East Army, where her authority is second only to her direct superior, Belo Betty. According to herself, Ahiru's cybernetic arm has shooting capabilities.

Ahiru was present on Momoiro Island with Belo Betty and Koala after the plan to infiltrate the Levely had been put into action.
Final Saga
Egghead Arc
Ahiru and her fellow deputy commanders were on the shore of Momoiro Island when they spotted a ship sailing towards them. She was prepared to shoot at the ship with her cybernetic arm in case it was an enemy, and she was relieved to see that the ship contained Sabo and survivors from Lulusia Kingdom. Six days after Lulusia's destruction, she witnessed water flooding the shores of Momoiro Island as the result of a global earthquake. Later, Ahiru is seen listening to Vegapunk's broadcast with the other revolutionaries and learning the truth about that water flooding.

Summary
"Ahiru" (あひる?) means "duck" in Japanese. This follows the theme of female characters being named after birds. Ahiru is so far the only female cyborg in the series.
