History

Final Saga

Elbaph Arc

While Johanna and a group of Walrus School students met the Straw Hat Pirates, Colon came to the school and engaged in a duel with Luffy. When the students expressed how angry they were at him, Johanna was brought to tears when Colon insulted them all back. After the Straw Hats left, Johanna attended Ange's class where everyone discussed the things they feared most. At some point later, Johanna and eight other students were used as hostages for the God's Knights to force the local adult giants to fight for them in an incoming large-scale war. They were put to sleep and were lured away by arrows as part of their plan. They walked along Branch 8 of Forest Sector 2 where a large fire started by Loki was in front of them, but Jinbe extinguished the fire, allowing the kids to remain unharmed. Eventually, the kids woke up from Killingham's sleep ability, but realized they could not move with Gunko's arrow controlling them. They were told by Colon that they were being abducted, and were then ambushed by two MMA creatures. When another student Bjorn expressed wanting only his life spared, Johanna criticized him for acting selfish.
