Elbaph Arc
When the Straw Hat Pirates visited the Walrus School, Mag informed Luffy, Zoro, and Usopp that it was no longer allowed to use offensive language or be taught how to be warriors. Later on, Colon arrived and engaged in battle with Luffy, which made Mag and the other students upset at him for starting a fight. After the Straw Hats left, Mag attended Ange's class. When tasked to draw his bigger fear, he drew a picture of Loki. At some point, Mag and eight other students were used as hostages for the God's Knights to force the local adult giants to fight for them in an incoming large-scale war. They were put to sleep and were lured away by arrows as part of their plan. They walked along Branch 8 of Forest Sector 2 where a large fire started by Loki was in front of them, but Jinbe extinguished the fire, allowing the kids to remain unharmed. Eventually, the kids woke up from Killingham's sleep ability, but realized they could not move with Gunko's arrow controlling them. They were told by Colon that they were being abducted, and were then encountered by two MMA creatures, which made Mag feel very nervous.
