When Portgas D. Ace was to be executed at Marineford, Zucca and his crew joined forces with the Whitebeard Pirates to save him. Zucca appears after Squard stabbed Whitebeard, charging into battle. He's seen with other pirates charging after Whitebeard destroyed icebergs. He is around Luffy and Ace few moments before Ace's death with other captains like Choi and Rush. He is seen later when the Heart Pirates' submarine dives into the sea, along side of Baggaley, Palms, Andre, and Julius.
Postwar Arc
He, along with the rest of the crew, attended Whitebeard's and Ace's funeral on a undisclosed island somewhere in the New World.
